We need to start again on trees
The tree saga continues as the police arrest more protesters.
Last November, Sheffield council hit a low point when it launched a 5am ‘dawn raid’ on the Rustlings Road trees leaving 3 people arrested. Following a court hearing, the charges were then dropped. But this week seven more people have been arrested.
The council policy is flawed – we need to stop felling healthy trees!
Not only is the policy ignoring the wishes of communities, it’s also wasting taxpayers’ money on pointless legal fees.
Our city can’t go on ignoring communities and arresting its own residents. Support our campaign below.

We, the undersigned, call on Sheffield City Council to scrap the 6D tree felling policy and take a common-sense community based approach to tree maintenance.
