The Sheffield Liberal Democrats are calling for a massive expansion of recycling in Sheffield.
In Sheffield, only plastic bottles can be recycled. Items such as yoghurt pots, carrier bags, margarine tubs, food trays and bottle tops can’t be put in Sheffield’s brown bins but can elsewhere. And recycling has now been cut to MONTHLY collections!
Recycling needs to be as easy as putting other waste in the bin. We want an expansion of the materials which can be recycled.
